Fees and Payments
Basic Fees and Terms of Payment (as of January 2024)
All fees are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD)
- The regular rate for a 50-minute individual, family, or couples therapy session is $220
- You will be issued an official receipt that you can remit for reimbursement or tax purposes where applicable.
Payment Methods
- e-transfer: send payments to payments@mindfulcentre.ca at the end of each session
- Credit Card: easiest for those who prefer automatic payment processing after each session

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC), or Registered Social Worker (RSW), our services are covered by most extended benefits plans. Discuss the requirements of your specific plan with your chosen counsellor to verify that needs are met. Contact your counsellor to see if they are already connected with your third-party payor; direct billing may be an option.
Your counsellor may be registered with your Employee/Family Assistance Plan (E/FAP) companies such as:
- Homewood Health
- Arete
- Lifeworks
- Canada Life (RSW only)
Please contact your E/FAP provider to determine eligibility under your program.
Service assistance programs (SAP) that may fund clinical counselling services include:
- Blue Cross
- Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC)
- Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP)
- First Nations Health Authority (FNHA)
- BC Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) programs…
